Leave the road and travers the slope in a southeast direction maintaining a 4800-4900 ft elevation (altimeter is helpful). Follow elk trails into first wash area immediately below rock wall. Walk 1150 feet at 274 degress to the jct of two unmarked, undrivable skid roads. From this jct, walk 400 feet at 280 degrees to the Reference point. Note: there are no markings on the highway or the skid road jct because it's private property.
