Gardening with Natives

Siskiyou checkerbloom adds beautiful color to  the meadowscape or wildflower garden border. Lovely pink to rose-colored flowers bloom on a spike-like raceme from late spring to early summer and are a nectar source for butterflies. Leaves are palmate and usually both deeply- and shallowly- lobed. Siskiyou checkerbloom prefers full to partial sun and moist, well-drained soils.
